The New Year of the Trees

Tu Bishvat (Hebrew: ט״ו בשבט‎) is a minor Jewish holiday, occurring at sunset on the 19th of January through sunset on the 20th of January, 2011. It is also called "The New Year of the Trees" or (Hebrew: ראש השנה לאילנות, Rosh HaShanah La'Ilanot‎). Celebrated on the fifteenth day of the Hebrew month of Shevat, Tu Bishvat is one of four "New Years" mentioned in the Mishnah. [Read more on Wikipedia]
